CGI Introduces the New Pearl-700 Desktop 3D Scanning and Inspection System

Eden Prairie, MN - 1/16/2009 - CGI Inspection, an innovator in the world of 3D inspection equipment, has introduced the Pearl-700, a new desktop 3D scanning and inspection system for manufacturers of smaller and more complex injection molded parts.  This new system provides accurate and complete 3D scanning of molded parts that have internal features .

The Pearl-700 is portable, easy-to-use, quieter, and very affordably priced at under $50,000.

It can be placed on a desktop (see photo below) and scan parts that fit within its scanning envelope of just over 63 mm x 44 mm x 88 mm.

The Pearl-700 is ideal for first article inspection of the most complex injection molded parts.
